Content Editor

Join the world's largest software company in this exciting content editor role.
This person will be responsible for:

Publishing content and maintaining our centralized internal existing website;

Editing and updating content for our new branding and new website as well as collecting, editing and publishing our monthly newsletter to content creators;

Responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and readability of all content in assigned subject areas;

Developing content and creating specifications of new and revised articles or features;

Identifying authors, editing manuscripts for style, tone and grammar. Resolving customer queries and responding to customer comments. Suggesting appropriate media for articles;

Working cross-functionally and collaboratively with internal business owners, stakeholders and vendors to collect content that will address our audience's information needs;

Leading editorial meetings with key stakeholders, managing the editorial calendar and developing standards for refreshing content on an ongoing basis;

Managing publishing workflows across the intranet site;

Editing and publishing information about content offerings;

Working with cross-functional groups (content authors, program managers, designers, etc) to implement new features and processes.


Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and editorial skills. You should be able to work well with a virtual team of vendors and internal resources to create compelling content.
You should also have:

A minimum of 3-5 years experience with web content management;

A working knowledge of HTML and CSS; SharePoint and MSTP experience is a plus;

Project management skills to prioritize workload;

Web publishing background a plus;

2 plus years editing experience required;

Strong writing, editing, project management, communication and organization skills required;

Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English or a related field.
