Job Responsibilities:
We are seeking a customer-focused individual to manage this $1.3 million Computer department. The entire store does $15 million in sales. This position is primarily responsible for selling computer hardware, software and peripherals. This position will also be responsible for:
1.Managing inventory levels
2.Ordering products from vendors
3.Supervising a team of Part-time and temporary staff members.
4.Additional responsibilities include visual presentation of computer-related merchandise and supplies, processing reorders, and supervising associates.
REQUIREMENTS
Job Requirements:
1.Prior retail experience as well as computer sales experience.
2.College degree is preferred.
3.Solid technical understanding of computers and demonstrate good knowledge of inventory control.
4.Strong customer service skills and the ability to build relationships with university faculty and staff are a must.
5.Candidates should possess excellent customer service skills and computer merchandising/buying experience
