Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine Department of Anatomy and Physiology Business Manager Position Announcement The College of Veterinary Medicine, Department of Anatomy and Physiology is seeking applications for a regular, professional position as a Business Manager. This position is responsible for overseeing the department's fiscal operations, auditing, and managing all accounts payable and receivable relating to the department. This position is also responsible for preparing and analyzing financial reports routinely and on request, developing fiscal procedures and policies, supervising staff responsible for accounts payable and managing annual department budgets. The successful candidate will work as a team member with other business office managers to ensure fiscal responsibility and accountability for the departments as well as the college. This position will be required to interact and communicate with faculty, staff, administrators, vendors, and sponsors on fiscal and budgetary issues on a daily basis. Applicants must possess a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting, finance or related business field and a minimum of two years experience in a mid-level accounting or related business position. This individual must be able to work independently and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
