Full Job Title: Communications & Sensor Systems Engrineer 4 Skills Management Title Systems EngineeringJob Level: EXEMPTBusiness Component: Integrated Defense Systems (IDS)Job Description: Provide communications payload system sengineering for complex digital processor payload satellite system containing embedded software and complex hardware. Support the development of system functionality, payload operational concepts, interfaces, requirements and trades from Space segment level to payload and ground subsystems as appropriate. Develop payload hardware and software functional requirements and verification plans. Develop and execute space-ground coompatibility plans and tests. Contribute to functional homeroom activities involving knowledge management tool development and documentation for payload operations and software system engineering processes and products. Competencies 1) Technical Skills & Knowledge: Experience with communications payload hardware and embedded or ground-based software for complex space-based systems, payload operations and operations products for these systems. Experience with complex space payoad - ground interface development and validation.
