Cognos Systems Analyst

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Interpret end-user requirements and incorporate solutions utilizing BI
Develop data cubes and reports using Cognos, Power Play, Upfront and Report Net
SQL scripting and working with SQL server
Configure and support ERP interfaces as needed
Backup person for maintenance of database after-image files for disaster recovery
Assist with XML coding for interfaces between like and unlike databases, and corporate website
Assist in Report writing, user training and support of CyberQuery and Upfront

REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience:
3+ years Cognos experience in developing reports, cubes and maintaining datawarehouse
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer related degree
Experience with 4GL, .NET and XML
3+ SQL and systems analysis experience
3+ years experience with ERP interfaces and report writing
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Strong problem solving and analytical skills are a must
Proficiency with Cognos, Power Play, Upfront required; Report .Net experience preferred
Experience designing and developing XML bases services
Progress database programming and exposure to ERP system, esp. MFG/PRO a plus but not required.
Bilingual in Spanish and English
Project management experience a plus
