Cisco Technician

Purpose: Enterprise Environment Qualified candidates must have 2-4 years experience supporting, installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Cisco routers and switches in a large environment. Must have experience upgrading Cisco IOS. Must have experience with multiple series of Cisco equipment including 4500/6500 switches, 7200 routers, ATM, OC3/12, T-1/DS3's, and VPN. Must be familiar with a Cisco Data Center environment. Will be responsible for Cisco router/switch configuration and network monitoring using HP Openview. Will need to have a strong understanding of network design, WAN, OSPF, RIP, BGP, VLAN, EIGRP, HSRP, and Multilayer switching.

CCNA and CCNP certifications are a plus. Will be required to work swing shift hours to perform upgrades. Local candidates and email responses will only be considered. Will need to pass 7 year background check and drug test.
