POSITION: CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT PROCESS ASSESSMENT
LOCATION: DENVER, CO.
DURATION: 04 MONTHS (EXTENDABLE)
RATE PER HOUR: OPEN (W2 HOURLY)
Competency:
A Candidate must have an expert knowledge of Correspondence processes and procedures, strong problem solving skills, and the ability to work in a team environment within set time periods. A strong knowledge of Microsoft Server Operating System 2003, Microsoft Office Tools, data-center mainframe environment, Web Services, Programming Languages (Siebel, COBOL, and .NET), and Xerox Printers, and IT Network Security is required. Having a working knowledge of template design such as variable paragraphs, variable font size, use of color, inserting, specialized envelopes, U.S. Postal Mail Regulations, will be viewed a plus. This Candidate will be required to meet with other State agency employees, i.e. Department of Personnel – Mail Services in order to conduct a thorough assessment.
The Candidate must have the following experience at a minimum:
· Successful Implementation of a correspondence solution within the last 3 years
· Correspondence Assessment/Consulting of a Project/IT Organization with similar SUPER System Hardware and Software Architecture within the last 5 years
· 5 years of Working Knowledge of Client Server and Mainframe Operations/Environments
· 5 Years Working Knowledge of Microsoft Server
· 5 Years Working Knowledge of Web Services
· 5 Years Network Administration
· 5 Years Various Correspondence Template Design
· Project Management Skills
· Teamwork Skills
· Oral Skills
· Written and Presentation Skills
Scope of Work:
The scope of this Documented Quote is to assess the viability of Accenture’s Correspondence Solution for the SUPER System and make a written recommendation to establish and manage the ongoing correspondence process for the UI Operations. This written recommendation must include the establishment of a correspondence solution according to the requirements set forth in the genesis project and business unit requirements
Candidate is required to participate in Project Team meetings and discussions. They will also provide weekly written status reports, time reporting, and the final assessment report to the System Engineering Project Team Leader who has overall responsibility of the system effort in the PRA.
The Candidate shall be responsible for the assessing the following areas:
Concept of Operations:
· Any and all genesis project concept documents that relate to correspondence
Requirements:
· Any and all genesis project requirements documents that relate to correspondence
Architecture:
· Evaluation of the following:
· Business Layer (.NET code, SQL DTS packages)
· Presentation Layer (Siebel presentation of data collection and image retrieval)
· Use of Microsoft Word as a desktop publishing tool
· Process for on-demand generation/print process (Lexnet batch process)
· Process for mass mail generation/print process (VIPP Batch Process)
· Process for local generation/print process
· Sorting/Bundling – (LexDoc and Paris Spooler)
· Scanning (Kodak)
· Scanned document retrieval (Fairfax Imaging - Quick Web)
Design:
· Correspondence Design Documents

· Pitney Bowes mailing barcodes
· Scanning barcodes – 3 of 9
· Bank Scanline
· OMR (optical mark recognition for payment coupon perforation)
