CNC PROGRAMMER

CNC PROGRAMMER* READ AND UNDERSTAND CONTROL PLANS & CHARTS RELATED TO OVERALL QUALITY SYSTEM
* USE SEVERAL TYPES OF MEASURING EQUIPMENT - micrometers, calipers, "go-nogo" gages and tooling microscopes
* understanding of CNC process and equipment
* move and adjust CNC fixtures. Make adjustments to existing CNC programs
* MASTERCAM (version 8 or higher) preferred
REQUIREMENTS
+ conduct quality audits and inspect in-process work as the parts come off the machines, as well as making minimal adjustments as required.
+ must be able to identify and communicate manufacturing problems to the programmer when they arise.
+ person will be responsible for set-up and maintenance of current programs
+ duties will include adjusting offsets, set-up and issue tooling to other operators and to complete simple machine maintance
