CMMA Data Manager

The Joint Deployable Intelligence Support Systems Joint Program Office (JDISS JPO) requires a computer System Administrator to manage over 40 data sources and associated computer hardware and software applications supporting the Collection Management Mission Applications (CMMA) suite of tools.

The CMMA Data Manager (DM) primary duty location will be at the North East Regional Service Center (NE RSC), at the Defense Intelligence Center, Bolling AFB, Washington, DC. A secondary location will be at the National Maritime Intelligence Center (NMIC) in Suitland, Maryland.

CMMA is composed of several applications providing intelligence collection managers, decision makers and users in the field with a complete set of tools required for collection requirements management, research, and visualization. CMMA applications including the Planning Tool for Resource Integration Synchronization, and Management (PRISM), the CMMA 2nd Generation Data Broker, the Battlespace Visualization Initiative (BVI) and the Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Gateway, processing multiple data sources into and out of CMMA.

The CMMA DM must be a self-starter with a robust knowledge of data feeds, data structures and databases.

Applicant must be able to manage multiple tasks, allocate resources, and prioritize in a dynamic environment.

Must be able to identify requirements, translate requirements into actionable tasks, recommend solutions, and implement complex tasking. The responsibilities of the CMMA Data Manager include:
- Managing day-to-day data operations for CMMA
- Coordinate with external organizations and CMMA mission partners to ensure data sources to and from CMMA remain fully operational
- Coordinate with external organizations and CMMA mission partners to operationalize new data sources, as required.
- Develop written documentation in support of System Administration and Security guides
- Provide Weekly Activity Report and briefing input.
- Identify and maintain awareness of data issues and report to CMMA team members as directed
REQUIREMENTS
Background and Experience:
Minimum required:
- Applicant must have an active TS/SCI clearance with a current special background investigation
8 years of technical experience with:
- Department of Defense intelligence related data sources
- Knowledge of DoD Intelligence Information Systems (DODISS)
- WAN, LAN, and tactical communications concepts
- Data structure (FTP, IP/TCP, XML)
- Experience with large distributed client/server systems
- Experience implementing/operating Solaris and trusted Solaris
- Operating Systems and Microsoft Operating Systems
- UNIX operating system experience (extensive)
- Microsoft operating system experience (moderate)
- Ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing, to audiences at different levels of experience/knowledge.
- Organizational and time management skills.

Desired:
- BVI, PRISM, ISR Gateway user experience.
- Understanding of the Common Operational Picture (COP) and all-source fusion
- Knowledge of the capabilities and limitations of spaceborne and airborne collection systems.
