C Embedded Programmer

Kelly IT Resources is searching for an Embedded Programmer for our St. Louis, Missouri client. The position is permanent with our client.

REQUIRED SKILLS
Candidates must have at least 3-5 years of embedded software development experience, as well as experience in C programming. Candidates should be capable of performing software design, software implementation and software integration. Experience in developing and deploying products using Real Time Operating Systems is highly desired. Candidates which have demonstrated ability in developing embedded software using Motorola or Intel microprocessor architectures are preferred. Other preferred skills include: experience in software development for Embedded Win CE, using Visual Studio 6.0, VB, C++, and knowledge of Vending protocols (MDB, DEX, Protocol A).

JOB DESCRIPTION
Software Engineer will be responsible for design, development, and documentation of embedded Software/firmware for products and supporting tools. Individual shall be familiar and follow software development life cycle process and contribute to an ongoing process enhancement. Software engineer participates in development of Product Requirements, delivers software design documentation and implements software requirements through coding in high level and assembly languages. Further, individual is responsible for full software testing and support of a validation testing of the software.
