A self-motivated individual, who is punctual, detailed oriented, has strong organizational skills and is able to follow task/issues through to completion with little supervision. This position is responsible to build and technically administer new and legacy Client's distributed applications executing on any of the following platforms: HPUX, Sun Solaris and AIX running Websphere, Sun Iplanet, BEA Tuxedo. The candidate should understand how to troubleshoot and maintain applications and be quickly able to engage appropriate resources to resolve tasks/issues/defects.
The position requires extensive interaction within the UNIX environment. The candidate must be familiar with UNIX commands, tools and shell scripting languages. The candidate will be required to review release notes, coordinate/orchestrate issue resolution incorporating SME input from multiple teams within the Technology sector. It is expected that this individual possess 6 - 8 years relevant industry experience.Technical Environment: C, C++, Unix Development- must have 5 years of experience. Must be able to effectively communicate both written and orally in meetings with cleint managers.Compensation and other relevant details:
