C#/ASP.NET developer

Volt has a great opportunity with a client based in Oregon. Looking for a Software Development Engineer responsible for document generation sub-system.
Essential Duties include:
Design, develop, maintain and enhance software in a hosted software environment
Identifying solutions to complex software problems
Monitor, analyze and troubleshoot problems in the daily operation of production systems
Produce written design documentation, implementation notes, support documentation, user training material and other written deliverables
Ensure quality of deliverables using best practices of development processes
Provide estimates of scope of work and time to delivery
Participate in cross-functional project teams
Scope and Accountability:The selected candidate will work as part of a software development team within the Product Development organization. The engineer will be involved in the complete software development lifecycle for the sub-system, including requirements analysis, design, estimation, development and testing phases. The successful candidate will interact with Product Manager, other Software Development engineers, SQA engineers, Systems engineers and Professional Services representatives.


Requirements:

Following are the Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities needed-

2-5 years of experience in software development

Object-oriented design experience and use of related languages (e.g. C#, C++, VB, Java)

Production software development experience desired in C#, XML and ASP.NET

Knowledge of database principles and Microsoft SQL Server experience

Familiarity with PDF and/or Microsoft Word Templates from a programmatic approach is highly desired

Learn multiple engineering environments rapidly

Ability to create scalable and maintainable solutions and software tools to support those solutions

Understanding of writing quality software; including requirements analysis, design, development and unit testing

Organizational and analytical problem-solving skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to Communicate effectively with technical and service groups

Strong collaborative skills and team orientation

Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
