Business Systems Consultant 3

This position is located in Business Payroll Services (BPS) in Bloomington, MN.
BPS is a part of the Diversified Products Group.Processes requests for development of custom technical solutions from Business Payroll Services (BPS) Clients, Sales Representatives, and internal departments (ie. Operations, Finance, Tax and Implementation). Plans, conducts and directs the analysis of complex business needs to be solved using custom application interfaces and/or other technical solutions. Provides direction to less experienced Business Systems Consultants. Primary focus is on technical client payroll data imports, exports and individual client and internal user reporting needs.Individual will participate and oversee the preparation and completion of client specification and needs analysis, build interfaces between various applications, test interfaces, and implement projects into our payroll production environment. Works directly with clients and internal customers to provide training, answer application questions, support user needs, and recommend solutions. Must possess strong programming, project management and customer service skills. Must also have experience designing and implementing automated solutions to solve problems and meet client needs.
Minimum Qualifications


* Minimum Qualifications:4 year degree
1-3 years experience in Software Testing (eg. Regression testing, Load testing, Quality Assurance)
1-3 years experience in a supervisory or leadership role and/or management position
3-5 years experience in custom technical solution development and customer service.
3-5 years experience with various Database platforms(SQL Server, Oracle, Access, DB2, etc)
3-5 years experience with custom report development tools (Crystal Reports, Cognos, MS Access)
Superior customer service, organization and analytical skills.
Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills are crucial.
Must be able to manage multiple simultaneous projects (30+).
Must be able to work in a fast paced, demanding and deadline driven environment.
