Business Analyst

A top Milwaukee area employer - Job location in a northwest suburb of Milwaukee.

Under general supervision, organizes, assigns and monitors the deliverables for smaller projects. Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. With this knowledge, develops or modifies moderately complex information systems. Includes analysis of business and user needs, documenting requirements, and revising existing business logic difficulties as necessary. Competent to work in some phases of systems analysis and considers the business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment. For smaller projects, defines project plan and ensures project is delivered on time and on budget.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Meet with key business unit stakeholders to gather requirements and needs.

Develop written requirements to clearly define and detail the needs of the business unit. Requirements may include screen design and process flow charts.

Assist the business unit and teammates with resolving production issues.

Ability to manage several tasks at one time

Works with project team to plan, estimate, schedule and implement the testing of project tasks

Organizes, assigns and monitors the deliverables for smaller projects.

Adheres to defined practices and procedures
