Build/Release Engineer

Purpose: TEKsystems is currently interviewing Release Engineers who have experience implementing software configuration management tools and processes for multiple concurrent projects for a contract opening at one of its clients in Columbus, OH.

Chosen candidate must be an advocate of and experienced in implementing CM/Build/Release methodologies, processes and tools across a diverse team ensuring that standards are successfully adopted by the team and that the highest standards are met by everyone.

Qualified candidates will posses the following skills:

Minimum of 5 years professional experience in software and systems engineering utilizing object oriented methodologies to deploy software applications in complex end user environments

Minimum of 3 years experience performing all aspects of software configuration management, branch management and designing and developing Build/Install packages -- preferably in an organization that has ISO 9001 and/or CMM level 2/3 processes in place.

Minimum of 3 years experience building software application solutions on the .Net Framework using C#, ASP.Net, and ADO.Net with the ability to analyze code issues.

Advanced understanding and proven administration experience with VSS 6.0, both the client side GUI and server; MS Windows 2000 / 2003; IIS and application building via IIS under VS 2003 and VS 2005; Visual Studio 6.0, .NET Studio 2003, and Visual Studio 2005.

Proven experience with a disciplined approach to team-based software development, testing, version management and documentation, and audit processes.
