Applications Development Manager

Defines, designs and develops reports/analysis required by the business using front-end tools and web deployment.
Creates and maintains BW Infocubes, ODSs, extractors, transfer rules, update programs, etc using back-end tools
Creates and monitors process chain load schedules
Supports all phases of a project life cycle including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment of solutions and post-production support/maintenance functions.
Assists team in creation/updating SAP development methodology, functional specifications, technical specification and process standards.
Oversees development work for contract developers
Willingness to actively participate in team meetings and demonstrate personal commitment to the team by regularly sharing information and by adhering to expectations and guidelines
Willingness to assist in mentoring staff as requiredQualifications: Mastery level of entire BW model including Info Objects, Info Cubes, Info Sources, Multi Cubes, PSA, ODS, Meta Data Repository, Master data, Transactional Data, Hierarchies, BEx Analyzer, extract and transfer rules, etc.
Demonstrated experience in BW 3.x design and configuration
Demonstrated experience and success in supporting, troubleshooting, performance tuning in large production BW systems
Good ABAP knowledge to analyze and code transformation and update rules, ability to troubleshoot issues and follow up with SAP support (OSS)
Demonstrated experience with SAP NetWeaver products & ECC 5.0
Demonstrated experience with Operating Systems (Windows 2000/2003)
SAP BW/BI Certification desirable
ASAP Experience/Project management discipline
6 years experience with SAP R/3 or MySAP ERP 2004 ECC 5.0 with knowledge of FI/CO, SD, MM, & PP modules
4 + years of BW experience with at least 2 full life cycle BW projects experience
Experience with managing off-source developers
Strong organizational skills
Superior interpersonal and written/oral communication skills
