Under direct supervision, develops cost-effective information technology solutions by creating new and modifying existing software applications. Codes, tests, debugs, documents and implements software applications. Assist 5/3 Operations, IT, and FTPS Relationship Management in the research and resolution of the EFT Debit Network outages.The position is on the Technical/Professional ladder at level 1 in the Applications Development discipline.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Efficiently designs, programs and implements applications to meet business goals.
2. Installs final updates and developments to assigned systems to include testing, flow charting updates and scheduling.
3. Codes, tests and documents routine enhancements made to existing programs.
4. Responds to problems and/or requests assigned to the group.
5. Works as part of a team to determine project requirements, goals and implementation schedules.
6. Participates in the resolution of reconciling items with key operation, relationship management, IT, and other areas.
7. Identify and implement process improvement initiatives as well as trouble shoot issues with current processes and systems.
8. Other duties as required.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:None Job RequirementsMINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:Undergraduate degree in computer-related field. Some basic technical training preferred.
