Application Supervisor - Mainframe

Purpose:
Oversees multiple applications programming and analysis projects which include development, installation and maintenance of application programs. Communicates and endorses strict adherence to development and quality standards and monitors adherence on an on-going basis. Directs, motivates and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team. Leads analysis of organizational needs for development and implementation of applications. Interfaces with clients to ensure that systems are developed which meet their business needs and specifications.

Experience Requirements:
1) Four years of work experience with a Bachelor Degree OR Six years of work experience. 2) Proven experience in team leadership and full life cycle development; 3) Proven in depth experience in overall project management across multiple technologies and platforms; 4) MS experience to include Word, Excel, Power Point, and Project; 5) Possess effective verbal and written communication skills; 6) Proven strong analytical and technical abilities; 7) Ability to effectively lead troubleshooting efforts through diagnosis and quick resolution of citical on-line or batch issues is essential; 8) Proven experience in accurately and effectively critiquing staff's performance, providing positive and constructive feedback for strengthening areas of weakness; 9) Full support CMMU processes and procedures; 10) Strong people and team building skills; 11) Other duties as assigned.
