The candidate for this position will support our Drive and Direct business partners. This role will be responsible for coding and development of Progressive forms in Documaker Studio. Use of this tool requires the ability to understand basic programming rules (if-then-else constructs), multi tasking, and strong logical thinking skills. An IS degree or equivalent work experience is required for an entry level App Specialist as well as the following: effective communication skills, PC knowledge (familiar with Word, Lotus Notes, and Lotus Notes databases), teamwork/coordination, an eye for minute details, grammatically strong, good time management skills, and capable of working with a variety of clients in a dynamic and quick-paced environment.

This is an entry-level position responsible for creating or configuring conditions, scripts, images, statements or "code" within applications. Designs or manipulates data utilizing tools to produce or extract data. Translates requirements into application specifications and/or revises application logic to get desired results. Seeks assistance from higher-level Application Specialists when necessary.

Learning to use fundamental concepts and procedures of particular field of specialization. Uses established procedures and works under direct supervision to perform assigned tasks. May work independently on defined or structured activities, conferring with higher-levels on complex and unusual matters. Little diversity in work assignments. Has basic understanding of business applications and industry requirements. Assignments are small in size/scope, low complexity with little business risk. Some analysis, documentation, and revisions may be performed under direction of more experienced Application Specialists, and may assist with small projects.
Bachelor's Degree in an IT or Business related discipline or equivalent technical tool administration experience consisting of at least 1 year of experience creating, testing, configuring, updating, manipulating, and/or scripting technical tools or applications. Experience could also include providing analysis support or maintenance of an application or technical tool. Experience using Progressive applications or systems, and/or experience providing expertise in application back-end processing and user interface preferred.

- Must have a technical aptitude and ability to understand basic technical requirements in order to be able to create, configure, update, and manipulate technical applications and/or provide analysis support or maintenance of an application.

- Must be proficient with a PC, with experience using software packages or tools for processing and/or extracting data.

- The ability to analyze and solve basic application problems.

- The ability to pay close attention to details.

- Good problem solving skills.

- Good communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels, both internal and external to the Company.
