Application Development Project Manager, 8636

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for all aspects of application development project life cycle. Will assemble the project team and lead them through requirement specifications, technical design, coding, planning & executing integration & user acceptance testing, and implementation of projects. Responsible for establishing an accurate and comprehensive project plan and ensuring all milestones are met. May be assigned to lead a major project and/or a series of concurrent projects. Must ensure all projects meet minimum documentation standards for compliance as defined within the DFS development lifecycle methodology.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
Qualified candidates will have strong interpersonal skills and be comfortable in a leadership position with a high level of accountability. Strong interpersonal skills are to include effective negotiation, conflict management, and the ability to develop strong-working relationships.
Excellent Verbal and Written Communication
Individual must demonstrate the ability to identify, communicate and mitigate risks, developing appropriate mitigation plans
Individual must also possess a high level of motivation, and the ability to effectively manage several projects concurrently, while meeting all established delivery dates.
Intermediate skill set with: Microsoft Word, Project, Excel and Power Point
Minimum of 5 years Project Management experience managing medium - large-scale Information Technology projectsInternal candidates must have a strong working knowledge of the DFS PDP methodology
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experienceDESIRED SKILLS:
PMP Certification
