Application Development Manager

Directs and coordinates development and production activities of computerized management information systems department by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisorsConsults with management to analyze software needs for management information and functional operations, to determine scope and priorities of projectsRecommends and develops plans for systems development and operations, software purchases, budget and staffingDevelops, implements and monitors management information systems policies and controls to ensure data accuracy, security and legal & regulatory complianceNegotiates and contracts with consultants, technical personnel and vendors for services and productsProvides support to end users in the selection, procurement, usage and maintenance of softwareSupervise development and database administration team
REQUIREMENTS
College degree in Computer Science or Information Systems preferred2+ years experience in technology management required5+ years programming experience requiredExperience within the mortgage/financial industry preferredKnowledge of .Net and the Microsoft platformExpertise in SDLC and QA MethodologiesFamiliarity with project management methodologyExcellent documentation and interpersonal skillsExcellent oral and written skillsProven ability to lead and motivate development team in a fast paced environment
