Application Administration Specialist - PHX (5121)

Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for an Application Administration Specialist to join our team in Phoenix, AZ.Job Responsibilities:

Administration and support of the web-based components of a large Lawson ERP system and for several ancillary Microsoft Windows-based applications.
Responsible for technical administration through the entire application lifecycle - planning, installation, configuration, tuning, monitoring, patching, upgrading. Specific applications to be supported include:

Lawson Portal: IIS/Tomcat server/servlet engine used to provide access to Lawson back-office applications.

Lawson Business Intelligence: Web and SQL-based application for managing reporting functions within Lawson.

Lawson Mobile Par Cart: J2EE application for synchronizing Symbol-based inventory-counting devices with the Lawson database.

Lawson Self Service applications: JavaScript and servlet applications for performing simple, specialized tasks within Lawson.

Bottomline WebSeries and PayBase: Web-based application for Payroll and Accounts Payable check printing.

Perceptive Software ImageNow: system for capturing documents images and linking them to records within Lawson.
This position will own the system administration responsibilities for these applications.
Participate in the Lawson change management process and interact with UNIX and Application Administrators, Database Administrators, Application Analysts and Windows System Engineers to apply changes or upgrades and ensure Windows-based applications remain current.Required Skills:

4+ years of Windows and web administration experience: Microsoft Windows 2000/2003 and Microsoft IISDesired Skills:

Apache Tomcat administration, upgrades, etc.

SQLServer

BigIP or other Web load balancing

Lawson, Bottomline, or ImageNow technical experience (Portal, Environment, IOS, web server tools, Lawson file structure, etc.)

Familiarity with Windows-based system monitoring tools

Familiarity with HTML/JavaScript/XML

Familiarity with Java and J2EE concepts

JBoss administration

Crystal Enterprise administration

Windows scripting (WSH, JScript, VBScript, etc.)

Familiarity with IBM WebSphere

Familiarity with LDAP, particularly IBM Tivoli or Microsoft Active Directory and ADAM

Crystal Enterprise

Hyperion EssbaseMinimum Educational Requirements:
