Application Access Administrator

The System Application Access Administrators work in a helpdesk type environment. Software distribution requests, access requests, and problem resolution requests are received via phone calls, intranet forms, or problem tracking systems. The administrators follow established procedures, use tracking and documentation tools, and may use knowledge databases to document, resolve, and/or escalate issues within established guidelines. The administrators have the authority to make decisions on problem situations but cannot change policies or procedures without review and consent from support analysts for the impacted system or application.

Work Description:

The System/Application Access Administrators work in a helpdesk type environment. Software distribution requests, access requests, and problem resolution requests are received via phone calls, intranet forms, or problem tracking systems. The administrators follow established procedures, use tracking and documentation tools, and may use a knowledge database to document, resolve, and/or escalate issues within established guidelines. The individual will be assigned to the Software Distribution team.

The individual in this position will have the responsibility of but not limited to:

o Process and schedule enhancement requests for software

o Process requests to have software packages promoted to production

o Process SMS Workflow distribution requests

o Follow-up on Enhancement requests once they have been scheduled to verify successful installation on targeted workstations

o Answer telephone calls providing assistance

o Document Incident/Problem/Change Management through the Service Desk tool which will involve calling the SF Business Partner

o Troubleshooting

o Document solutions in our databases

o Escalate problem to appropriate level

o Administration of Blackberry Devices

o Second Level Problem Call Support for the Outlook Client for Enterprise (including agent and agent staff)

o Develop and maintain administrative procedures for the Enterprise Email Manual, Enterprise Email Website, and Enterprise Email Orientation Manual

o Troubleshoot Mail Delivery Problems

o Maintain Public Distribution List Owners

o And other duties as assigned
