ASP.NET Developer

Purpose: Client is looking for a consultant to perform technical work applying necessary skills in programming, systems analysis and design, and software installation. The effort is focused on supporting applications for Client. Listed below are the duties, qualifications and preferences for the qualified consultant.



General Duties:

Perform technical and administrative tasks required in the analysis, design, development, implementation, and maintenance of computer applications and reports.
Perform programming tasks for application programs.
Gather requirements and lead user interface design work sessions.
Install and test software packages.
Provide technical assistance and support to customers and team members during the design, development and implementation phases.
Test and monitor computer applications for data quality, data integrity, efficiency and performance.
Provide well-written documentation for computer applications/programs.
Communicate project status to departmental staff.


Qualifications:

Graduation with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or other computer related field and five years of recent progressively responsible programming and systems analysis experience.



Required Skills:

Operating Systems: UNIX (AIX preferred) and Windows 2003
Relational Databases: ORACLE and Microsoft SQL Server
Development: Microsoft Office suite products, SQL, ASP, .NET, Visual Basic, VB Script, HTML, Business Objects/Crystal Reports.
