APPLICATION ARCHITECTURE MANAGER
Hoffman Estates, IL

Responsibilities:
Provide direct management oversight to teams of employees and/or contractors.
Oversee programs of multiple simultaneous project and change requests.
Assign work, conduct performance reviews, recruit and manage other personnel issues as required.
Create management reports and provide team performance analyses.
Help junior personnel address challenges
Ensure departmental processes and procedures are adhered to in all required cases
Report progress to managers, project leads an other required parties as appropriate.
Independently lead medium to large sized projects and lead medium to large sized teams in their execution of those projects.
Ability to segment and troubleshoot process and systems issues on cross platform applications.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in computer-related area preferred.
Applied knowledge of advanced object oriented programming techniques, methods and structures, advanced data access and update techniques, methods and structures, advanced multi-tier internet application architectures using Microsoft technologies.
Lead multiple simultaneous small to medium sized projects and teams
Rapidly learn and apply new, emerging application development and integration technologies and techniques.
Communicate clearly and effectively in both verbal and written formats.
Ceate and maintain positive, productive working relationships with both technical and non-technical personnel.
Maintain current knowledge of CEC operational initiatives and issues and to be able to turn those into actionable projects to benefit the CEC organization.
Find solutions to solving business challenges in a timely manner.
Advocate CEC policies and procedures throughout the organization in a positive, constructive manner.
Track and project financial performance of the projects and staff for which the manager is responsible.
Set project-related commitments and deadlines that are appropriate for the staff performing the tasks.
Mentor junior team members on technical and non-technical topics and issues.
Active participant in the estimating and budgeting activities in all sizes of projects and other technical and non-technical commitments.
