5 Axis Programmer

Purpose: Local Tucson company is looking for a full time 5-Axis Programmer. The potential candidate will be responsible for receiving data in the form of concept "sketches", blueprints, drawings, computer models and create or translate to CNC language for waterjet or laser production machinery. Typical configurations are complex solid models requiring 5 to 6 machining. They will also need to be able to create and post NC code within budgeted/estimated time allotted with accuracy to minimize de-bugging. Also must have the organizational skills to store and retrieve NC programs within our computer network. Candidate will be accountable for effective means of electronic transfer of NC code within our company and our customers and suppliers. In addition candidate will need to provide programming information, advice and training to our staff.
