Sr. Network Engineer
Individual will administer Internet services, firewalls, routers, switches and security systems in support of a multiple office global architecture. Individual will perform hands-on support of production systems including networking LAN/WAN, internal/external security systems, email, Citrix and remote access systems.
Responsibilities/ Duties:
•Provide administration and support of CheckPoint firewalls - 5.0
•Provide administration and support of Cisco routers and WAN – series 3700, 3600, 2600; must have considerable depth with routing protocols
•Provide administration and support of Cisco switches and LAN – series 3500, 4000 & 6000•Provide support for Internet services and related systems
•Provide support for all security components within the environment
•Provide support for Citrix systems and related security components
•Provide administration and support for email and related systems - including Exchange, MailSweeper, scanning tools
•Provide support for web-based security - Surfcontrol
•Provide support for network related systems - DNS, routing, DHCP, etc
REQUIREMENTS
•Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals
oCISCO WAN LAN platformsoCheck-Point Firewall / Nokia system
oMail-Sweeper - ClearSwift
oCitrix - MetaFrame XP
oSAN - Network Appliance
oRouting, DNS
oWindows 2000, 2003, Active Directory
oExchange 2003
•Strong knowledge in security systems and methods
•Direct experience with CheckPoint firewall
•Direct experience with Cisco routers, switches•Individual must possess good hardware, operating system and troubleshooting skills
•Strong oral and written communication skills
•Good project management and organizational skills
•8 years of experience in related fieldAcademic Qualifications:
•Undergraduate degree in related field.•Cisco CCNA certification.
