Workplace Solutions Manager

We are currently seeking a Workplace Solutions Manager to join us in our New York office.
Responsibilities:
Act as a liaison between the National Workplace Solutions team and the Area Human Resources (HR) organization to include Experienced Recruiting Group

Directly support the Area Managing Partner in conjunction with the Area HR Director

Assist the Area HR Director in implementing local, regional and national programs and initiatives, with focus being directed on becoming an “Employer of Choice” including work/life, OE, diversity and charitable work initiatives

Actively participate in national projects and initiatives with the National Workplace Solutions team as needed, and assist in the coordination and roll out of local and national efforts

Act as a resource and advisor to the Area HR Director and HR Managers in developing and/or enhancing national program implementation

Train HR Managers and Practice Leaders, Partners and employees on new tools and interventions that support an effective work environment, including: networking; mentoring; respect and dignity; wellness; workplace flexibility; performance management; diversity efforts; retention initiatives and upward feedback

Facilitate and maintain two-way communication between local leadership and the National Support Services

Provide feedback about the effectiveness of various programs and assist in design and re-execution as appropriate

Develop, build and maintain strong relationships at various levels of the organization, and be an advocate for workplace initiatives

Effectively guide and support local “Involve” coordinators, local action councils and other networks, helping ensure synergies are maintained with national directives
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Business, Psychology or Human Resources from an accredited college/university

Six years of experience in a related field

Previous HR generalist experience or specific concentration in OE, work/life or training functions

Strong presentation, communication (verbal and written), analytical, problem solving, listening, and relationship building skills; ability to act as a change agent

Active membership and participation in business and professional organizations in work/life, OE, diversity or “Involve” arenas

Proficiency in MS PowerPoint and Excel
