Warehouse Manager

We are looking for an energetic, hands-on floor manager, who is comfortable being directly engaged with the operations at all times, as well as having the capability of independently directing the activities.

Job Responsibilities:

Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.

<o:p> </o:p>

Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols

<o:p> </o:p>

Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage systems

<o:p> </o:p>

Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement

<o:p> </o:p>

Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions

<o:p> </o:p>

Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results

<o:p> </o:p>

Hold management and staff meetings to organize warehouse activities

<o:p> </o:p>

Develop and recommend an annual operating budget

<o:p> </o:p>

Develop and manage a system of controls to ensure that service levels and operational performance goals are met within prescribed cost, revenue, and profit parameters

<o:p> </o:p>

Assist in the establishment of internal and external customer service standards for all accounts and communicate these standards to all personnel

REQUIREMENTS


5 years experience as a Supervisor or Manager in a high-volume warehouse environment.



Experience in a small parts/pick/pack/UPS shipping operation needed

Computer skills required (MS Office, Excel, and Word). Experience with Oracle 11i a PLUS!!!
