Support Specialist (HR) III - (HR Assistant)

Titan Req. No.: TOSHR10Duties/Responsibilities:This is a temporary position for 90 days.
Responsible for supporting the day-to-day administration of one or more of the human resources programs through processing of paperwork, compiling data as required, responding to routine information requests and the like. Requires knowledge of HR and/or business policies/procedures: Benefit plans, policies, procedures and practices including New Employee Orientation. Assists staff as necessary in preparing offer packages and salary action paperwork. Ensure proper new hire paperwork is complete and accurate. Prepares Employee Records and files in order to enroll employees in company sponsored benefit programs based on eligibility. Will process required paperwork for new hires, transfers, salary adjustments, promotions and terminations and input them into the HRIS (Costpoint) system. Must be customer oriented and able to respond quickly to problems when they occur. Must be able to interface with all levels of employees and management. Accomplishes own work yet is aware of needs of co-workers; Selects the appropriate activities or issues to work on from a range of competing alternatives; Must be able to work on short deadlines and in a highly dynamic environment. Strong understanding of computer and HRIS systems supporting the organization. Informs appropriate parties when an obstacle could interfere with accomplishment of assigned duties; Provides feedback from employees related to issues or concerns.Education and Experience Requirements:Education requirements: High School diploma, college degree very highly desired. Experience:
Minimum of 2 years professional experience in administrative or related capacity preferably in Human Resources capacity. Strong computer working knowledge of MS Office and HRIS related applications. Professional demeanor with excellent communication skills. Must be able to work in a high-energy environment and work overtime when needed. Individual must be very detail oriented and organizational skills.
