Responsible for all aspects of the development/implementation of projects and programs involving and supporting Corporate Security. This will include the design process through a finished state for various projects. Provides a single point of contact for projects. Takes projects from original concept through final implementation. Interfaces with all areas affected by the project which may include customers, client services and various departments. Defines project scope and objectives. Oversees/coordinates all aspects of project and serves as project manager between clients, line management and internal and external resources. Plans and directs schedules as well as project budgets. Monitors the product/program/project from initiation through delivery, interfacing with customer on all matters. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, budgets, and status reports. Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project deliverables. Manages the integration of vendor tasks, and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables. May provide project management guidance to project team. Recommends/takes action to direct the analysis of and solution to problems.
These programs include, but are not limited to, the pre-employment screening program, the background screening program for contingent workers, and the various drug testing programs. Advises and directs the business units through the maze of state regulations and requirements for applicant and employee screening. Develops and implements Corporate Security/Safety policies and procedures as mandated by law or business need.To assist the Senior Vice President (SVP) /CSO Corporate Security in broadening and deepening the working relationships between Corporate Security and the business units within McKesson. To assist the SVP/CSO assuming primary responsibility for communications and development of policies and procedures. Develop corporate policies for submission to the Executive Committee (EC) on issues affecting the safety and security of all McKesson assets, including its personnel, on a worldwide basis.
To enhance Corporate Security?s organizational effectiveness internally and within the company through the development and management of training, communications, standard operating procedures and policies
To assist the SVP/CSO assuming primary responsibility for the completion of special projects such as presentations, speeches and written reports or submissions. Align with other directorates within Corporate Security, both regional and functional, coordinating efforts as required
Compile monthly and quarterly reports for submission to the EVP-HR, EC, General Counsel, Board of Directors and Audit Committee relating to Security, Safety and Workers Compensation.
Select and manage vendors and consultants, to include drafting RFPs, evaluating and recommending, negotiating contracts, providing leadership and guidance once retained, and critically reviewing work product and invoices submitted
Develop and implement an Incident Reporting System that is capable of tracking and reporting enterprise-wide security and safety incidents.
Develop and implement a Site Security Officer (SSO) program. Coordinate with the CISO?s staff in establishing an Information Security Officers (ISO?s)
Develop and implement an e-learning program, and supervise administration and technological operation of the distance learning system.
Manage Corporate Security?s internal certification program for SSOs worldwide, including establishing and updating criteria for certification, managing communications with the SSOs and their Site Leaders and unit Vice Presidents regarding program requirements and benefits, and supervising the administration of educational programs, examinations, and tracking and recognition of training and certification achievements.
Coordinate and manage training conferences for the SSOs as requested by the SVP/CSO, providing assistance in gaining support from the business units for SSO participation in the conferences, developing a schedule for conferences, developing curricula, and supervising overall meeting procurement, planning, and execution.
Coordinate and manage training programs for Corporate Security staff as requested by the SVP/CSO, by evaluating vendors, supervising the development of curricula, supervising scheduling and administration of training, and communicating requirements and benefits to the staff.
Comply with all Corporate Security directives, whether written or oral, issued by the SVP/CSO or his designee; with all Corporate Security policies, procedures and guidelines; and with all Corporate Security reporting requirements, including those associated with a Incident reporting System
Undertake domestic and international travel as required
Develop and implement professional development plan

5+ years experience in project management.Additional Knowledge & Skills
Prior experience in developing and delivering a pre-employment screening program, background screening program for contingent workers, and the various drug testing programs. Knowledge of state regulations and requirements for applicant and employee screening preferred
Prior experience in developing and delivering training programs for professionals
Proven success with change management
Ability to gather and critically evaluate information
Excellent written and verbal skills required, including ability to understand and communicate complex issues clearly and concisely
Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to gather and critically evaluate information and prepare written documents that clearly and concisely identify the issues presented and their proposed resolutions
Must be strategic thinker with a firm understanding of the balance between business and security
Must be well-spoken, calm and have ability to inspire confidence; must be a self-starter, capable of working either independently or as part of a team
Must be able to work on and prioritize multiple tasks; must be able to work well under pressure, both internal and external, and exercise sound judgment
Technological aptitude, including familiarity with standard MS-Office tools, as well as database management, and web-displayable content development
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills, including ability to monitor a budget
Must be able to handle and work with confidential information.Education
