The benefits of working at Capital include interesting work, exceptional colleagues, a comfortable workplace, competitive salaries and bonuses, and health and life benefits from day one.This associate will work closely with HR management in the U.S. and in Asia to provide technical and logistical support to facilitate the movement of associates between our U.S. and Asian offices as well as between our Asian locations.Key Responsibilities:
Identify tax, immigration, COLA, housing and other issues and develop recommendations for expatriate package in accordance with company guidelines.
Meet with relocating associates to communicate their expatriate packages and identify any special needs or issues. Ensure that specific partner/family issues are identified as appropriate and support is established where necessary.
Provide, through use of external consultants/outside vendors as appropriate, 'settling in' services, ensuring the associate (and their family where necessary) are fully able to integrate into their new situation.
Act as a central point of contact for the associate on issues regarding their expatriate status throughout the duration of their assignment.
Coordinate activities with local Human Resources, Payroll, Office Services, the business area manager and the associate, as well as external vendors proactively keeping people abreast of assignment status and issues.
Contribute to the shaping of global, and where appropriate, regional approaches to cross-border expatriate and general relocation policy development and execution.
Keep abreast of current processes and guidelines typically used by companies in their expatriate programs, and bring creative ideas to the table to improve our existing processes for the company or the relocating associates.
Act as a resource and expert on expatriate issues, negotiating with and managing external consultants and outsourced vendors as required.
Support HR from a tactical as well as policy development perspective with respect to the complex issues related to third country nationals in Asia.
Administer certain benefit plans - Hong Kong ORSO pension scheme, expatriate medical plan.
Coordinate year-end compensation reporting for the expatriate population.
Participate in the development and maintenance of effective international administration record keeping systems.
Keep abreast of new and emerging trends, tax laws and legal requirements.
Prepare annual, monthly and ad hoc reports.
Complete research and special projects as assigned.Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred.
5-7 years of experience in managing expatriate programs, either as a program manager or as a service provider.
Broad knowledge of international tax, cross-border payroll issues, and the mechanics of tax equalization.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
