Senior Staffing Manager
Group Overview:
The Client Phone Services (CPS) staffing team assists managers in
defining job descriptions, approving new hire requisitions, and
sourcing candidates. The recruiters work with hiring managers to
interview, select and extend offers to candidates, both internal and
external to Schwab, who will help us meet our business objectives.
Responsibilities:
Partner with CPS leadership/hiring managers to develop
effective staffing/sourcing strategies for current and future needs
Coach/supervise your team to:
o Deliver slates of qualified and diverse talent for current
and anticipated roles in the organization
o Prepare hiring managers and other interviewers to ensure the
“candidate experience” is efficient and professional
o Identify and build partnerships with national, regional, and
local organizations, particularly diverse organizations, including
search firms and technology/internet based sourcing firms, to develop
recruiting relationships/pipeline
o Promote Schwab as an employer of choice to organizations
o Identify and regularly report on metrics regarding the
recruiting pipeline, hiring cost and hire quality
o Fulfill all the functions of a Schwab people manager,
ensuring your team understands our strategy and business objectives,
how their work fits with these, and giving regular and meaningful
feedback on their development and performance
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5-7 years experience in all aspects of recruiting
for non-exempt, professional, and managerial positions
Experience with searching and sourcing talent in various
niche associations, resume databases or websites
Proven ability in partnering with hiring managers and working
with executives on workforce plans and staffing strategies
Experience using an online applicant tracking system,
preferably Hire.com, and maintaining required documentation for
AA/EEOC requirements
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. f.) High
level understanding of HR policies and practices, and familiarity
with EEO standards, compensation, salary administration, performance
management, benefits, etc.
Minimum of 3 years successfully supervising a team of 5-10
members
