Senior Manager, Staffing
The Senior Manager of Staffing will have direct responsibility for 8-10 staffing personnel in our Northern CA region. Key responsibilities will include staff workload allocation, performance management, key client relationship management, and service delivery. Accountabilities will include the attainment of recruitment goals / metrics and delivery of consistent services, practices, processes, and policies within the territory.
The Senior Manager will be responsible for all levels of recruitment activity from senior experienced hires through college recruiting while managing and executing against affirmative action and diversity plans. Will set direction for employment advertising and candidate sourcing strategy while maintaining awareness of competitive landscape within the region. A limited amount of direct recruitment for senior level positions will be required.
Establishes operational objectives and work plans, and delegates assignments to staff. Senior management will review objectives to determine success of key goals. Involved in developing, modifying and executing company policies that affect immediate operations and may also have company-wide effect.
Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives. Implements strategic policies, and selects methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Establishes and assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans and performance requirements.
Regularly interacts with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers. Requires the ability to influence key constituencies and gain acceptance from others in a spirit of collaboration and partnership.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 10 years of staffing experience in a corporate environment plus 3-5 years of direct supervisory experience. Required to have excellent written, verbal and presentation skills. Needs strong focus on customer satisfaction with solid background and experience in building collaboration and cooperation between key constituencies. Should be strategic thinker with strong business acumen and sound judgment. Must have deep knowledge and proficiency in the utilization of recruitment metrics to drive results, increase productivity, and reduce costs. Successful candidate will have strong track record of employment, achievement, and career progression.
