Senior Manager, Compensation & Benefits

Our client a major consumer products company is interested in hiring a Senior Manager to develop and manage all compensation and benefits programs.

Duties & Responsibilities

Benefits:
-Manage the benefits plans (medical/dental/prescription, 401(k), life insurance, long-term disability, short-term disability, worker’s compensation, etc.)
-ensure the cost effectiveness of the plans
-ensure that all employee information is updated in the appropriate systems
-monitor and manage claims on a monthly basis
-manage the open enrollment process
-participate in annual 401(k) audit
-file annual 5500 tax form
-prepare and review RFPs for vendor selection
-monitor employees’ leave terms
-ERISA Compliance Officer – manage all ERISA-related issues
-Manage all facets of the Wellness Program and any other employee programs
-Act as a Benefits Coalition Leader

Compensation:
-Manage all facets of the compensation program
-merit increase process
-e-MBO system, process and payouts
-development and maintenance of salary structure(s)
-review and approval of salary offers
-any off-cycle salary adjustments as necessary
-competitive analysis research
-Manage the annual promotions program
-Manage the annual performance appraisal process
coordination and maintenance of the Global Performance Management System (GPMS)
-90-day reviews
-Manage all reward and recognition programs
-the President’s Award program
-Long-term Incentive Program
-any retention bonuses as needed
-Manage the job evaluation process
-conduct and review all job evaluations
-maintain the integrity of the job structure and the online system
-monitor and approve changes to evaluations on an ongoing basis
Collect and maintain current job descriptions for all active employees
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or other related field; MBA/Master’s degree a plus, but not required
8+ years of experience in compensation and benefits management and administration
Must have a strong understanding of compensation and benefits regulations and guidelines at both the state and federal level
Must have a solid understanding of salary administration, compensation analysis, performance management and job evaluation
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; strong project management skills
Ability to work in a high-paced environment
