Senior Leadership Training Specialist

Responsible for researching, developing and delivering BJ's leadership and development training programs. This includes: developing new and delivering existing management effectiveness training programs and programs designed to reinforce culture and values to Team Members throughout the organization; monitoring and evaluating effectiveness of training programs; and revising existing programs as necessary. Additional responsibilities include conducting the train the trainer sessions, scheduling and coordinating training sessions and performing other responsibilities as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS


Requires a minimum of 3 years experience developing training and management development programs. Knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design is also required. Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills are essential. A Bachelors Degree in English, Communications and Education and/or equivalent work experience is also required. Familiarity with organizational development theory and practices are desirable. A Masters Degree in Training and Development, Organizational Development or Education is a plus. The ability to travel up to 50% of the time is required.
