Essential Functions: 30% - Analyzes, evaluates and processes personnel actions as well as communicates/corresponds with administration, management, faculty, staff and external applicants.
30% - Reviews, prepares and monitors year-end processes for review by supervisor.
20% - Extends job offers for support staff and completes all necessary documentation and paperwork.
20% - Evaluates documents to ensure compliance with laws, policies and procedures; performs other duties as assigned.Job Summary: Analyzes, coordinates and performs independently advanced level professional, technical and analytical work involved in the implementation of employment processes.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications: - Human resources experience and/or college course work
Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills to multiple levels within an organization
Computer experience to include online systems
Knowledge of federal, state and local statues related to employment
Demonstrated effective time management and organizational skillsDesired Qualifications: - College degree in related field
One (1) year experience applying human resource policies, procedures and laws to respond and resolve employment related concerns
Experience using PeopleSoft Human Resources Information System (PS HRIS)
Experience processing a high volume of various human resource actionsSpecial Working Conditions: Requires prolonged periods of sitting and viewing a computer screen; may require lifting up to 35lbs.
