Human Resources and Real Estate
leading Manhattan luxury retailer, committed to providing the best of everything: merchandise, customer service, and innovative people with creative ideas, is currently seeking an Executive Assistant to the Executive Vice President /General Counsel, Human Resources and Real Estate.
10+ years experience as a legal assistant (experience as assistant to in- house counsel a plus).
Excellent organization, word processing, computer and communications skills. Ability to interface with all areas of the Company and particularly with Senior Management.
Working knowledge of a variety of documents including:
Real Estate Leases
Commercial Agreements
Insurance
Collective Bargaining Agreements
Human Resources documentation
REQUIREMENTS
Responsibility for the administration and processing of applications for various licenses and permits (business licenses, liquor licenses, real property permits, retail permits, administrative agency permits).
Responsibility for tracking and coding legal and other bills.
Ability to interface with insurance company representatives and the Company’s Risk Management department.
Ability to manage the Company’s trademark portfolio and interface with trademark counsel as necessary.
Interface with outside counsel as necessary.
Perform general secretarial duties.
