Description of responsibilities
The Senior Human Resources Manager will report directly to the COO as a member of the management team. This individual will be responsible for the company’s human resources functions, including:
-All facets of employee recruitment, in cooperation with department managers
-Employee relations and benefit administration
-Communication and enforcement of affirmative action policies
-Creation of performance assessment standards and protocols
-Standards for compensation, promotion, and employee-recognition and retention programs; administration of said programs
-Employee and management training
-Conflict management and resolution
-Enforcement of OSHA standards
This professional will establish and maintain appropriate and satisfactory employee-management relations, and will communicate, reinforce and represent the policies, procedures and high standards of the Harry Krantz Co.

REQUIREMENTS
Position requirements
-Minimum of 5 years full-time generalist human resources experience
-PHR certification strongly preferred
-Expertise in labor law and trends in workforce legislation
-Knowledge of OSHA standards
-Demonstrated experience managing others and interfacing with senior/C-level management
-Demonstrated expertise in employee relations and counseling, as well as communication and enforcement of company policies, standards of behavior
-Experience in the development of hiring requirements, practices and outreach
-Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
-Minimum BS in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Sociology, Business Administration or related area or equivalent relevant experience
