Senior Human Resource Generalist

Responsibilities:
Develops and deploys Organizational Development (OD) strategies to address current and future business needs. Plans and manages moderate to large scale projects across the organization. Collaborates and builds partnerships with customers within a manufacturing environment. Continually improves and enhances the current OD function. Capable of leading and managing a small to moderate size group of associates.Daily Tasks:
Project management related tasks including preparing, and gaining approval on proposed project activities. Utilizes OD skill set in support of assessment activity, leadership development programming, coaching/mentoring, consultation, talent management, etc. Collects, reviews, and incorporates internal and external benchmarking data into project planning. Gains understanding on the daily operating characteristics within manufacturing, support and leadership groups. Mentors and develops associates through effective leadership characteristics. Provides services and support to a broad array of customers, encompassing various levels, functions and professions. Serves the organization as a credible source for identifying and providing appropriate developmental interventions to meet individual and group level needs.Experience:
Minimum of eight to ten years experience with Organizational Development or related field. Progressive leadership and management experience. Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Experience within Training and Development or related field.Knowledge:
Thorough understanding of organizational development related concepts, tools and functions such as needs analysis, assessments, associate development, talent management and training techniques. Knowledge of formal consultation processes. Familiar with instructional design (designing courses). Working knowledge if human resource practices and processes.Required Skills:

Broad network of contacts in training, organizational development and related topics.
Knowledge of PeopleSoft HR system.Degree:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or equivalent experience.
