Senior Health and Welfare Benefits Analyst

Job Responsibilities:
This position is accountable for the day to day advanced activities of health and welfare benefits administration. Specific areas of responsibility include one or more of the following: Medical, dental, prescription rugs, disability, life insurance COBRA administration, flexible spending accounts and health savings accounts. The position is involved in the design, development and implementation of new programs and/or changes to existing programs. This position also analyzes benefit programs and prepares recommendations for management decision making.
Operates and overseas the maintenance of compensation/benefit information systems and records. Prepares documents necessary to implement program changes and coverage. Recommends and implements processes/procedural changes that enhance accuracy and efficiency. Ensures compliance with government regulations and plan documents. Interfaces with multiple vendors on complex problems to ensure plans are administered properly. Provides functional guidance and expertise to Total Compensation Analysts in problem solving
