Senior HR Generalist

Under guidance of Sr. Director, Human Resources, provide quality HR generalist service to assigned customer groups. Support and advise department management through entire scope of employment cycle, including recruiting, employee relations, employee development, performance appraisal/planning, terminations. Includes policy interpretation, problem solving, issue resolution, and assistance with skill building and education activities.
Responsibilities:
* Provide HR consulting services to assigned client group(s), including coaching and counseling supervisors, managers and employees regarding staffing, employee relations, employee development, performance appraisal/planning, terminations. Provides general/and or specific interpretation of HR policies and guidelines. Uses knowledge of state and federal laws and company affirmative action goals to support diversity and equality in workplace environment. Provides skill building and educational activities for employees and management in client group.
* Facilitate recruitment process for assigned groups. Provides staffing support to line management including needs assessment, sourcing, candidate identification, interviewing and offer development.
* Lead projects of moderate to high complexity with broad impact on the organizational policies and practices. Participate as a member of HR or cross-functional teams, to provide leadership and support for HR initiatives and projects or company wide projects. Reinforce and incorporate Teva/Sicor values in conduct of daily business and relationships.
* Provide HR generalist back up support for other client groups or functions and participates in HR special projects as requested.
* Assist in the planning, development and implementation of training which supports long range and strategic organizational objectives for management and employee development. Includes working with other HR Generalist and all levels of management to identify and find solutions for training related problems and issues.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
* Education Required: Bachelor’s degree
* Experience Required: 7 years successful Human Resources experience with a generalist background with at least two years of HR training
* Specialized or Technical Knowledge Licenses, Certifications Needed: PHR/SPHR Certification is a plus.
