Concept: SR BENEFITS SPECIALISTDescription:
Candidate is responsible for coordinating medical, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, EAP, COBRA, life insurance, long-term disability, and retirement programs to effectively service employees and to ensure benefits are properly administered. Responsible for maintaining and updating all benefits policies, communications and forms. Organize and track claims and administrative expenses. Evaluate existing programs.Required Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field. Three years experience administering employee benefit programs. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. Good presentation skills. Demonstrated organizational skills. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel. Working knowledge of a computerized HRIS.Preferred Qualifications: Certified Benefits Professional (CBP). Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS). Proficient in the use of Microsoft Access. Experience managing plan vendors.
