Recruitment & Development Specialist-FFC
The Marketing Business Analyst evaluates business processes to identify and implement improvements in technology, work process, and content through elicitation, analysis, validation, specification, verification, and management of the business requirements of our customers. The business analyst serves as the conduit between the customer community and the software development team through which requirements flow. In this role the Business Systems Analyst will:
Work directly with management, end users, and IT staff to elicit, analyze, validate, define, document and manage business and marketing system requirements
Perform system testing, implementation, and maintenance
Represent business needs and detailed business information to project teams and sponsors
Provide knowledge of business process analysis tools and methods, participating in and supporting process improvement endeavors
Provide consulting and information from a business and systems perspective
Position Roles/Responsibilities/Accountabilities
Business Analysis
Elicit, analyze, validate, define, document and manage business and system requirements
Identify, develop, and maintain test cases and plans
Trouble-shoot and support business systems and applications, as necessary
Act as a liaison between our business partners and IT to assess business needs, recommend modifications, and facilitate service requests through implementation and management
Assist with developing business cases, project charters and plans, which includes documenting the business benefit of the request
Represent and model inputs/outputs and system/process flows in project and support settings
Act as an agent of change in support and project settings, recognizing and acting on change management issues and impacts of systems and process changes
Orchestrate multiple activities at once to accomplish goals with minimum direction
Communicate in a clear, concise and meaningful manner to specific audiences.
Understand and prioritize project assignments, service requests, and production support balancing them with the broader organizational goals
Leadership
Leads department and divisional projects as needed and appropriately follows EPMO/PMO guidelines
Drives and ensures communication within and across teams and with stakeholders
Ensures unity and alignment of communication and messages
Support the management team, and provide day-to-day management activities to the staff and/or project team assigned to
Be recognized as a respected and credible leadership agent for CRM initiatives and marketing systems management.
Acts appropriately without need for permission, understanding decision-making boundaries and parameters
Position Qualifications
College degree in business, computer science, mathematics or related field, or equivalent business experience.
3+ years experience as business analyst, with preference for significant experience with customer relationship management (CRM) or Marketing Operations Management (MOM) systems.
Ability to utilize end-user tools of intermediate complexity
3+ years experience leading systems and business process work efforts
Ability to quickly learn intricacies and issues of a process and system when called on
Ability to work with outside vendors to insure change requests are clearly written, programming meets requirements, and end product is received within agreed upon time frames
