Personnel Administrator

 The primary role of a Personnel Administrators is to ensure all employee payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely.
 Completion of PCRs/entries into the work events portions of PeopleSoft for: New Hires, Terminations, Transfers, Merit Increases, Salary Changes, Job Reclassifications, Promotions/Demotions, One-Time Pays, Other Cash Incentives
 Resolve inquiries from and initiate communications with other teams within Hewitt and client employees and managers
 Communicates and resolves issues with management and HR contacts to obtain and verify accuracy of information for PCR completion. Calculates salary offer recommendations as requested.
 Monitors timely entry compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and FERC requirements
 Complete special projects as assigned by management. Maintains employee personnel files and I-9 forms. Audits for compliance.
 Complete Department Tree Requests and Organizational Chart Maintenance as required.
 Initiates and completes the annual salary increase process for exempt/non-exempt employees.
 Provides Severance Support: Package preparation, mail/merge of letters and waivers, final package mailing.
 Completes entries of corrective actions, recourses and grievances.
 Runs reports and provides data for AAP reporting.
 Completes Employment Security Commission claims and provides information for Workers Comp issues.
REQUIREMENTS
 Important competency requirements include problem solving ability, organizational skills and an attention to details
 Strong analytical & time management skills
 A background in, or at least an understanding of payroll processing
 Adept at handling multiple computer applications
 Strong PC skills (Word, Excel, Power Point, Windows, etc.)
 Ability to work Overtime as required during the payroll cycle.
 Knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations
 Knowledge and experience with a case tracking system (e.g., Siebel)
 1 to 2 years of payroll processing experience preferred
 A high school degree is required.
