Doherty Employment Group, a leader in the temporary staffing industry is currently seeking an individual for a Bilingual(English/Spanish)On-site Staffing Manager position in Chicago.
The On-site Staffing Manager role is a highly visible and professional position that provides vital staffing services to our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and directing the internal service team, acting as a liaison between Doherty Employment Group, the client and the employees and providing a high-level of customer service to clients and temporary employees.
REQUIREMENTS
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Oversee, as well as perform, the interviewing, hiring, screening, and placement of temporary employees. Identify qualified temporary employees through recruiting and interviewing activities to create an inventory sufficient to meet current and future client demand.
2.Fill and service client orders. Maximize use of Doherty’s office technology to ensure optimum, cost effective, timely and high quality results.
3.Provide adequate oversight, training and leadership to ensure on-site coordinators reach potential.
4.Ensure high quality of standards by conducting activities and maintaining systems that secure Doherty’s position as provider of the highest quality service to customers. Provide direction to on-site coordinators and make judgments to preserve and enhance the customers’ level of satisfaction with Doherty.
5.Assist in the process of recruiting and hiring service staff.
6.Coordinate and consult with Service Manager and Area Director to better understand client’s needs, maximize level of service, encourage relationship building, provide cost effective service solutions to customer demands and strategize on ways to achieve and exceed Doherty’s financial goals and objectives.
7.Communicate information on open positions to Central Operations.
8.Oversee the management of all systems, facilities and equipment at the on-site location. Ensure equipment is kept in working order, replaced or repaired and that facilities reflect the highest professional standards.
9.Coordinate time keeping for temporary employees and payroll process for reporting to corporate payroll department.
10.Provide necessary and requested data/reports to client in timely manner.
11.Monitor and communicate temporary employee legal issues, including illegal harassments, suspensions, and non-business like conduct /behavior to corporate legal department in a timely manner.
12.Support Service Manager and Area Director to ensure that financial goals and objectives are met or exceeded while ensuring full compliance on all Doherty policies and procedures. Provide accurate, timely and complete daily performance analysis.
EDUCATION AND LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak and interact effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Bilingual (Spanish/English).
