POSITION SUMMARY: Act in advisory and functional capacity developing, administering and enforcing human resource policies and procedures.MAJOR DUTIES: (May perform any or all of the following duties.) Administer human resources policies in accordance with corporate guidelines. Develop and implement communication, incentive, development and training programs. Provide annual training for EEO compliance, Sexual Harassment, etc., when necessary. Assist managers and supervisors with employee counseling and discipline issues. Assure compliance with FCC and EEO regulations, Labor Laws and OSHA requirements. Manage compensation and benefit administration. Represent the systems interests at unemployment compensation hearings. Serve as a liasion between the human resources and payroll departments. Coach, motivate, train and develop Human Resource staff when necessary. Represent the company's interest in unemployment compensation hearings. Administer STD/LTD and FMLA. Perform other duties as assigned. Punctual, regular and consistent attendance.Qualifications
PREFERRD QUALIFICATIOINS: Knowledge of local, state and federal laws regarding emplyment and OSHA. Knowledge of wage and hours laws. Ability to communicate both orally and in writing in a clear and straight-forward manner. Ability to plan, organize and prioritize effectively. Proficiency in personal computers and software applications. Ability to speak publicly. Ability to manage and lead.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration or the recognized equivalent in work experience or a combination of work experience and education. Minimum of 3-5 years progressive human resource generalist experience.WORKING CONDITIONS: Office environment. Seated for long periods of time. Travel and use of personal vehicle in performance of duties. Exposure to moderate noise levels. Utilize and manipulate objects such as pen, papers and keyboard.
