Mgr-HRIS
The HRIS Manager will manage the operation and administration of the PeopleSoft 8.9 human resource information systems to ensure accurate and efficient operations, processing and data integrity. Manage the implementation and utilization of HR applications and tools. Lead day-to-day activities supporting the HR function. This key role will oversee the development and delivery of end user training and documentation for the PS HR System, Cognos and Portal.
Devise and propose creative solutions to automate and improve HR business processes in effort to proactively add value to business operations. Participate in ongoing HR optimization efforts and teams. Serves as a project manager on requests related to various HR systems.
This position will partner with IT in user acceptance testing. Develop, deliver and coordinate HR system testing strategy and methodology. Troubleshoot end user problems and develop solutions. Promote standardization and best practices across business units.
Partner closely with the HRIS BI team to leverage Cognos' reporting and analytics product line to drive standardization across all areas and business units. Design, develop, and manage production of reporting including human capital metrics, trends, turnover, special presentations, etc.
Effectively manage relationships with application vendors and outsource partners Provide backup support for HR applications and processes. Provide portal support when needed.
Participate in internal and external audits.
Position is responsible maintaining staffing and direct report performance management objectives.
Job Requirements
Experience with PeopleSoft HCM8.3 , PeopleSoft HCM 8.9 preferred.
Experience with PeopleSoft e-applications. Preferably, Manager Self Service, Employee Self Service, ePerformance and PeopleSoft Query
Cognos and HTML experience
Project management experience with information systems development projects that involve multi-disciplined groups (business users, systems analyst, engineers, etc)
Experience working with the HR business unit obtaining requirements and analyzing project information.
High level analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Experience with process reengineering
Change management skills
Ability to conduct cost benefit analysis

Process-orientation
HR systems development and implementation experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products including Microsoft Project

7 years of progressive functional HRIS or IT experience
BA/BS degree or equivalent in HR, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline
Experience managing team of direct reports - performance and staffing
