Manager – Labor Relations

In this management role, working under the guidance of the Director of Human Resources, you will provide key consultation on grievances and maintain satisfactory relations between union leaders and management. As such, you will participate in negotiations of labor contracts; oversee grievance procedures; direct consistent contract administration; develop labor relations policies and procedures; and represent the hospital at various governmental agencies and administrative hearings. Additionally, you will design and conduct in-house labor relations training programs and write reports, correspondence and analyses of labor relations activities.
REQUIREMENTS
Successful candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Master’s degree preferred) and six years of progressive Human Resources experience. In-depth knowledge of labor relations and working knowledge of contractual obligations and implementation is required. In addition, you will need superior interpersonal, negotiation, speaking and writing skills.
