As of Dec. 25, 2005, there were 1,804 Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar restaurants, of which 1,318 were operated by franchisees and 486 were operated by the company.Key Accountabilities:International HR Support: Provide both strategic thought leadership and tactical HR support to growing International department. Includes organization structure project work, recruitment, retention, ER issues, etc.Recruitment: Source, interview and hire Noticeably Better People for International operating entities. This includes direct hiring for International franchise support positions, direct assistance and counsel for International franchisees and recruitment for any future A.I.I. needs outside the US.Retention: Will work directly as HR expert with International team on various retention issues: personal development, associate relations, reward & recognition, organizational structure, job evaluations, etc.
HR Partnership: Create strong HR partnership with International President/Directors to ensure division is optimally staffed.
Performance Management: As the main people resource for International, must work closely with International President/Directors to actively counsel/manage as aspects of International HR including all aspects of talent management.Project Work: Drive assigned HR projects as needed. Requirements
Ideal candidate will have:Bachelor's degree in HR/Business/International
7-10 years experience in similar role
